Delay Repay Delay

I have now received the £5.60 payment from Virgin Trains. I thought I might not receive this due to the time that it had been outstanding.

Interestingly, the cheque was dated 1 October 2019, the letter was dated 12 November 2019 and the postmark on the envelope was 13 January 2020!

Perhaps it’s time for Delay Repay payments on Delay Repay payments …

Four months on, still no progress on Bat & Ball footbridge lights

It’s now over four months since I first reported, on 20 September, that two lights on the Bat & Ball footbridge were not working. I would have expected that repair of faulty lights on a footbridge should have a high priority because of the passenger safety implications.

Southeastern tickets now refundable online

I used Southeastern’s Website to buy some tickets recently and a problem occurred, the site locked, when it resumed working, I did not notice that one ticket I required had been duplicated before I paid for the tickets.

Accordingly, I did not collect the tickets and contacted Southeastern Customer Services to enquire about cancelling the duplicate ticket. I was advised that this can be done online and was directed to the relevant part of the Website.
