We’ve now had an update from Southeastern:
The weather has resulted in numerous trains and crews being displaced, meaning many are not where they need to be in order to meet Southeastern’s timetable.
In addition, major signalling failures at Cannon Street as a result of the torrential rain means the station continues to be closed while Network Rail engineers are on site carrying out repairs. This means Southeastern is unable to run any trains in or out of London Cannon Street and that services are being diverted into and out of Charing Cross, Blackfriars and Victoria.
Passengers can also use Southeastern’s high speed services at no extra charge and all first class seats on trains have been declassified for those with standard tickets.
We would urge passengers to leave extra time for their journeys home tonight and check before they travel.
Passengers can check before they travel via Southeastern’s website
