Southeastern morning on BBC Radio Kent

20141013-tweet-1SRTA members Tony Clayton, Gerry Dolby-Gray, Keith Alderman and Tamanna Miah were interviewed at Sevenoaks station and on the 0803 to London.  Our Borough Green correspondent Karen Harding was also interviewed.  This was part of BBC Radio Kent’s day-long feature on Southeastern.

We’ve done a quick “Storify” on the morning’s main interviews, including the interview with new Southeastern Managing Director David Statham.

Southeastern morning on BBC Radio Kent — 2 Comments

  1. Isn’t Southeastern obliged to provide a free taxi from Sevenoaks to Bat and Ball for the disabled lady?

Or does the long, slow and awkward diversion (doubling back via Swanley) represent a loophole that gets SER off the hook?

Either way, it’s high time that the northbound platform at Bat and Ball had step-free access !

  2. A taxi is one of a number of possible ways in which Southeastern could respond, provided that the traveller makes a precise notification to Southeastern at least 24 hours in advance and meet the other conditions. Southeastern’s policy is online.
