Bat & Ball is now on the Sevenoaks heritage bus tour!  There is a new bus stop outside of this station.

We hope that the guide/driver points out the locations of the engine shed, turntable, signal box, tramway to Gas Works, the goods yard sidings.  Bat & Ball was originally a terminus and the first station in Sevenoaks

In addition 6 May 2014 was the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Channel Tunnel.  At Bat & Ball and Sevenoaks Stations we frequently see the first train to carry passengers in the Channel Tunnel; Thamelink train, unit number 319008. On the sides of one carriage of this train there are commemorative plates in this respect; the unit is also named “Cheriton”
