Richard Freeston-Clough of London TravelWatch writes:-
I wanted to let you know about London TravelWatch’s plans to hold a transport engagement event in Bexleyheath on 30 October as part of our stakeholder engagement programme.
We will be at the far end of the pedestrianised area in the town centre between 10-2pm and wanted to give you the opportunity to pop along to the event if you are able to. We are hoping that representatives from TfL, local bus companies and Southeastern will also be in attendance.
Over the past few years we have held successful events Croydon, Romford, Stratford, Tooting, Harrow and Lewisham and we would like to give Bexleyheath residents the opportunity to discuss local transport issues such as the new Southeastern rail franchise. The surveys handed out at our events help us build up a body of knowledge about what passengers think are the main transport issues. We hope to use the event to raise public awareness of the work that London TravelWatch does, answer questions on transport issues and make sure transport users know where they should go if they want to complain.
Kind regards
Richard
