Recently some “perch seats” have appeared on the footbridge at Sevenoaks Station.

Unfortunately these are located in positions where people rushing for their train could easily run in to them. This is made even more likely to happen because these seats are coloured grey which blends in to the background.

It is a pity that the “quiet corner” by the Kippington side barriers was not chosen as the location for these seats.   The design of the ticket gates means that this is not in a passageway.

Three similar “perch seats” have been installed at Bat & Ball but in more sensible locations.
