London Bridge rebuilding: how Sevenoaks trains are affected
The Thameslink Programme website has been updated today with some details of the train service alterations during the rebuilding of London Bridge. Here are the key points affecting travellers from Sevenoaks:

January 2015 to August 2016
- Southeastern services to and from Charing Cross will not call at London Bridge.
- Southeastern services to and from Cannon Street will still call at London Bridge.
- “Some diversions” will take place between Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Blackfriars: there are no further details of these yet.
August 2016 to early 2018
- Southeastern services to and from Charing Cross services resume calling at London Bridge.
- Southeastern services to and from Cannon Street will not call at London Bridge.
- “Some diversions” will place between Charing Cross and Cannon Street: there are no further details of these yet.
December 2014 to January 2018
- Thameslink services between Bedford and Brighton through central London will be diverted away from London Bridge.
- There are plans to maintain an off-peak service between London Bridge station, Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
- During this period it will not be possible for Eurostar passengers from Sevenoaks to travel on Thamelink to St Pancras (currently there is a 4 trains an hour service off peak, from Platform 6 London Bridge). The tube will be the only option.
“2018”
- Cannon Street services resume calling at the station.
- Completion of track, signalling and major bridges work around London Bridge station. New station opens.
