The SRTA Committee and its Stations and Trains Groups have frequent contacts with the senior management of the train operator, station managers and local government.

We press for commuters' interests on a wide range of local concerns such as -

●    timetabling and performance,

●    ticket machines,

●    car and cycle parking, and

●    other station facilities.

We also make representations on wider strategic issues affecting the local and regional rail network.

These include the -

●    higher demand for rail services as a result of the re-development of the Cold Store site at

      Dunton Green, and

●    implications for local travellers of the opening of the fast rail link from Ashford.
